I’m Samuel, a Computer Science graduate from Royal Holloway, University of London, driven by a genuine passion for technology and a constant curiosity about how it works. My interest in this field stems not only from my academic journey but also from my innate desire to question the underlying mechanics of the systems we interact with daily. This fascination led me to delve deeply into full-stack application development, where I enjoy creating seamless user experiences and robust back-end architectures.

My enthusiasm for machine learning was sparked during a pivotal module in my third year, where I explored the mathematics behind algorithm creation and model training pipelines. The course was particularly inspiring, as one of the professors was a co-founder of Conformal Prediction, further igniting my interest in the innovative possibilities of machine learning.

When it comes to AI systems, I believe they should be developed responsibly, prioritizing fairness, transparency, and respect for privacy. By embedding ethics into AI design, we can create technologies that empower individuals, promote inclusivity, and enhance societal trust, ensuring AI serves as a force for good.

In addition to my degree, I hold certifications from Microsoft in Azure and Power BI, which have deepened my understanding of cloud technologies and data analytics and how they can be applied in a business environment. Looking ahead, I am particularly intrigued by the potential of embedded AI systems and aim to explore this area further. I am always eager to learn about new technologies and stay updated with industry trends to continuously enhance my skills and contribute to innovative projects that push the boundaries of software development and artificial intelligence.

Outside of my professional interests, I enjoy going to the gym as this is one of my favorite ways to stay active. While working out, I mainly focus on strength training, this not only helps me physically progress but to also increase my mental focus and discipline.
